Title : Laura Mercier Foundation Primer
Rating : 1 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Laura Mercier cosmetics
After reading fabulous reviews about her cosmetics I decided to take the plung. I purchased the primer, moisturizing foundation, and translucent powder. Personally they are not worth the $$$ and I returned them. I actually looked worse and washed out. It may work for some individuals but not me. I am going back to my Mary Kay!

Title : Chelsea Garden Bath Bomb by LUSH
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Smells amazing, scent lingers on skin nicely, but full of petals!
This is an amazing, elegant scent, the same scent as Emperor of Ice Cream Buttercream. This is a fresh, natural, sophisticated floral blend; no one element dominates enough to pick it out, or I would try to describe it more specifically. This is a new favorite for me, and I love that the scent stays strong on my skin and clothes all day after using this bomb.
The only small downside is the petals. I like some additions to my bath, but these petals are large and squishy and didn't add anything positive to the bath, while being numerous enough to clog my drain and sticky enough to stick to my body in an unpleasant way.
I forgive it this drawback and put it in an old nylon stocking to catch the petals as it fizzes merrily away, but you could also just get a little strainer for your bath drain or fish the petals out before hopping out of the bath. The fantastic scent is truly worth the silly petals floating about it in, and I hope they will make a perfume in this scent so I can spray it on everything. It is really an outstanding, natural floral.

Title : Angels on Bare Skin Facial Cleanser by LUSH
Rating : 4 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Great exfoliator
This is a great exfoliating scrub for my sensitive and breakout prone skin. Doesn't irritate, but definitely works. Not cleansing enough for me to use on its own (probably would be fine on its own for drier skin) so I follow with Fresh Farmacy. Loses one star because I find the lavender flowers annoying (they do smell good though).

Title : Youngblood Loose Mineral Foundation
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : As a careful consumer....
...I investigate most everything I purchase online. I had been seeing ads for mineral foundations for awhile, and was always intrigued. I have tried most every product in the world; those of us with sensitive skin tend to do this. Basically everything sans oxygen makes my skin break out, so I have to be extremely careful with what I buy. I had been using a cream to powder foundation for years which was great, but a little heavy. Being a stage performer, I have to wear heavy make-up for my gigs, so I prefer something lighter for my everyday life. I can tell you that this foundation is as light as air with great coverage.
After receiving an Amazon gift certificate for Christmas, I thought this was the perfect time to try this foundation. Also, Youngblood was the only mineral foundation retailer at the time selling on Amazon. After reading the good reviews, I went for it.
My foundation arrived in the mail a few days after Christmas, and now being the end of July, I still have A LOT left in the container. This information is helpful when you receive your tiny little container in the mail.
Having a good brush is the most critical element, as well as having a good moisturizer. There is a little bit of a learning curve so give it a couple of days of practice. Youngblood will send you an information sheet this I found very helpful.
I have slightly larger pores around my nose, so my tip for this is to apply the make up then take your finger and lightly rub it in, then take your brush and lightly go back over the area; this virtually makes those pores disappear. I also use my finger when covering blemishes, which I have to say I don't get many of. Those who have a bit more acne may feel different about this. I also use a good under eye concealer for my dark circles. I'm sure Youngblood works well for this; I have just never tried it.
For some mineral products, they claim to basically be miracle workers, making you look ten years younger, some also say that they cover up large facial blemishes. I'm not sure if this is a miracle product, and I tend to be suspicious of products that make such promises. There will never be a substitute for a good skin care regiment and moisturizer with SPF. I can tell you for sure that I get a lot of great comments about my skin, my skin glows, and most importantly I feel like I look great. I highly recommend this product.

Title : Big Natural Shampoo by LUSH
Rating : 1 Stars out of 5.
Summary : made my hair like straw
I fell for the hype, bought this overpriced shampoo
It left my wet hair feeling completely dehydrated, and even their also highly priced "Jungle" conditioner was used in enormous amounts, it just left my hair dull and dried out.
I returned both the shampoo as well as the conditioner, and the deodorant which I had purchased that gave me rash right away, 2 weeks ago, and I still have to hear from them.

Title : Therapy Massage Bar by LUSH
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Melty and wonderful
These massage bars are awesome! You need some of these. The therapy bar is wonderful. All of the bars I have melt with just short contact with skin, so massages are greasy, slidey wonderful fun. A thick slathering of oils from this bar take a while to work into the skin, but no matter how much you end up with, it will soak in after enough massaging. (Tired of getting the short end of the stick on massages? These will get your lover to make your massage last longer! They are so much fun to give massages with- and recieve!) The nub on this bar didn't last as long as I hoped, but it's not that big a deal anyway. It's still a great bar. No overpowering smells.

Title : NEW! (Hair) Solid Shampoo Bar by LUSH
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Super Clean the Smell...mmmmmm
I have used many Lush products and some I love, some I HATE! This one definitely falls in the LOVE category. I have thick, medium texture, color-treated, slightly wavy hair. This stuff works!! I use it every other wash to remove all the residue from salon shampoos, conditioners, and products. It makes my hair so shiny. It lasts forever, about 3 months using it every other day. Be sure to store it where it will not get wet - I use disposable gladware. And, I haven't even gotten to the best part. The smell is refreshing - mostly cinnamon and it makes your scalp tingle just a bit. Can't say enough about this one!!

Title : Big Natural Shampoo by LUSH
Rating : 4 Stars out of 5.
Summary : A little goes a long way
I have really long, thick hair so when my boss recommended this product to me I figured it would be a waste of money because I go through a lot of shampoo, but this was not the case. I use it once a week to get rid of any hair care build up or smoke from the bar the night before, any more then that and my hair is too dry.

Title : Coalface Natural Facial Cleanser by LUSH
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : I prefer it to LUSH's Fresh Farmacy
Coalface works wonderfully at preventing breakouts and exfoliating gently. It also tightens my pores and slightly lessens and delays the oily sheen I get a few hours after washing my face. The charcoal has mild exfoiliating properties and some even choose to rub this bar directly on their damp face. I prefer to just lather up the Coalface bar in my hands, apply the suds with my hands, and then rinse clean. It can remove most foundation except for my long-wearing formulations. I try not to use this to clean my eye area as its ingredients are fairly harsh for that in my opionion. I wash with Coalface at least twice a day in addition to using strong prescription leave-on treatments and have had no excess sensitivity. This is just right; whereas the Fresh Farmacy, while effective, was overly drying at times. Unlike with Fresh Farmacy, I have no trouble getting Coalface to lather easily enough for me. Coalface also rinses away completely without leaving a film or residue like I had with the Fresh Farmacy. This soap is rather expensive, but I suppose that the essential oils in it, Sandalwood in particular, are not cheap. At least Coalface lasts for a long time (over two months) using it primarily for my face. I do not care for its strange scent, but I got used to it after a few weeks; I did not purchase it for its scent anyway. This is a fairly messy soap. The lather strangely enough is not black but white!

Title : Fresh Farmacy Skin Cleanser by LUSH
Rating : 5 Stars out of 5.
Summary : Dreamy Pink Creamy Cleanser
This cleanser is actually quite pretty with a dreamy innocent creamy pink color that reminds me of calamine lotion. The bar itself is solid, but you break off a piece to use a little each time and it only takes a "tiny" piece to effectively clean your entire face. This may also be useful to soothe skin all over your body and I intend to try it out that way in my next shower.
I like using this at night, putting a little bit on a washcloth. It is also fun to use to give your partner a facial before bed because of the calming ingredients. I noticed my husband really relaxed and took a deep breath of the delicious ingredients which include Lavender oil, Chamomile oil, rose and Elderflower.
This also contains calamine powder - very soothing and the tea tree oil doesn't sting. I was a little tentative about trying the solid cleansers but they are just as fun to use as all the other products and I can't wait to try more.
