I usually use Lush's Irrisistible Bliss. I bought Karma Komba one day because by the description I thought it would be good for my hair. I used it once and I smelled like a stoner for 3 days! I could not get rid of the patchouli smell. So I moved it into the garage sealed in 2 ziploc bags and my garage still smelled like Patchouli. I only suggest this shampoo if you LOVE Patchouli or are trying to cover up a more nasty or illegal smell.

I have used many Lush products and some I love, some I HATE! This one definitely falls in the LOVE category. I have thick, medium texture, color-treated, slightly wavy hair. This stuff works!! I use it every other wash to remove all the residue from salon shampoos, conditioners, and products. It makes my hair so shiny. It lasts forever, about 3 months using it every other day. Be sure to store it where it will not get wet - I use disposable gladware. And, I haven't even gotten to the best part. The smell is refreshing - mostly cinnamon and it makes your scalp tingle just a bit. Can't say enough about this one!!

Big was my first foray into LUSH hair products after hearing several of my fellow addicts rave about it. It doesn't really lather that much, but it does get your hair super clean with maybe a fingerful used. I didn't notice any change as far as volume goes--I have pretty thick hair anyway--but when I let it dry naturally and didn't use conditioner it was a little smoother than normal (my hair frizzes if you look at it the wrong way). I use Big mainly as a clarifying shampoo, and it does the trick.

I got this for my boyfriend, who works all day lifting heavy plants in a nursery. He loved it from the minute I applied it to his sore back. The smell is calming, and the spices warm up the sore muscles like an icy-hot patch, but much better. It melts easily into the skin, but lasts a long time. It feels so creamy and warm. Now he always begs me to give him a massage!

...I investigate most everything I purchase online. I had been seeing ads for mineral foundations for awhile, and was always intrigued. I have tried most every product in the world; those of us with sensitive skin tend to do this. Basically everything sans oxygen makes my skin break out, so I have to be extremely careful with what I buy. I had been using a cream to powder foundation for years which was great, but a little heavy. Being a stage performer, I have to wear heavy make-up for my gigs, so I prefer something lighter for my everyday life. I can tell you that this foundation is as light as air with great coverage.

After receiving an Amazon gift certificate for Christmas, I thought this was the perfect time to try this foundation. Also, Youngblood was the only mineral foundation retailer at the time selling on Amazon. After reading the good reviews, I went for it.

My foundation arrived in the mail a few days after Christmas, and now being the end of July, I still have A LOT left in the container. This information is helpful when you receive your tiny little container in the mail.

Having a good brush is the most critical element, as well as having a good moisturizer. There is a little bit of a learning curve so give it a couple of days of practice. Youngblood will send you an information sheet this I found very helpful.

I have slightly larger pores around my nose, so my tip for this is to apply the make up then take your finger and lightly rub it in, then take your brush and lightly go back over the area; this virtually makes those pores disappear. I also use my finger when covering blemishes, which I have to say I don't get many of. Those who have a bit more acne may feel different about this. I also use a good under eye concealer for my dark circles. I'm sure Youngblood works well for this; I have just never tried it.

For some mineral products, they claim to basically be miracle workers, making you look ten years younger, some also say that they cover up large facial blemishes. I'm not sure if this is a miracle product, and I tend to be suspicious of products that make such promises. There will never be a substitute for a good skin care regiment and moisturizer with SPF. I can tell you for sure that I get a lot of great comments about my skin, my skin glows, and most importantly I feel like I look great. I highly recommend this product.

I'm sure the good reviews of other people here will give you enough information already. The product has some good ingredients like limes and avocado butters. But what you may not know it's that any other cleanser you are using like maybe L'Oreal Happy Derm in my case, you can just add table salt like half a teaspoon(yes they are sea salt ocean salt whatever you want to call it...same thing...sodium chloride) put your favorite cleanser on top and you are benefiting from the natural scrub and its healing/tightening properties already. I use this every morning now instead of Ocean Salt Skin Cleanser. Lime/lemon has the effect of the toner. Experiment on lime-lemon/olive oil combination on cotton ball after washing your face instead of toner can be surprisingly effective also. Something is worth the money, something may not be. Read the ingredients before shelling out $$$ for something worth $.

I have tried a ton of under eye concealers to cover my dark circles. They are all way too dry and either highlight the darkness or completely dry out the under eye area. This stuff is very creamy but not greasy. It applies with a small brush. The color is orangey, but it doesnt look orange on the skin. The orange cancels out the darkness. This is the only concealer for eyes I will ever use. LM concealers for the face are also awesome.

If you haven't tried a solid shampoo before, you definitely should! Great for camping, travelling, bringing to the gym, or just using as an everyday shampoo. To cut down on bringing a whole bag full of bath products to the gym, I use this as a shampoo AND soap, and it works wonderfully for both purposes.

This shampoo leaves my hair FAR less tangled than most shampoos I use, so if you don't often have to use conditioner, you probably won't need it if you use this shampoo!

The smell, of course, is grand - if you've smelled other karma-scented products from Lush, you'll know this. It's a unisex kind of scent, so I have to fight over it with my husband when we travel. MUCH better than those little bottles of foul-smelling shampoo and bath gel you get at most hotels. The earthy, citrusy smell of lemongrass, orange, lavendar, and pine is a wonderful way to wake up in the morning.

If you go to a Lush store, you can usually get a free tin to store your shampoo bars in if you buy 2 bars.

This bath bomb was a little deceptive. It fizzed fast and made the water a beautiful color. It smelled great. Then I thought, OK this will be enjoyable for about three minutes until I get used to the smell and the novelty of bathing in purple water wears off.

Boy, was I wrong. After a few minutes I started to feel sooooo much more relaxed. I had already been bathing in plain, hot water for awhile, so it wasn't just the effects of a hot bath. This little ballistic has something. And my skin smelled great until I took a shower the next morning.

This along with Big Shampoo, was my first try of Lush's products, I purchased several bath bombs (Big Blue, Sex Bomb, as well as the promo free ButterBall) since they had pretty good reviews... I am a true believer in the Bath as Therapy! So, of course I wanted to check this stuff out, and let me just say.........Honeeee, Those that haven't should!!! Waving not Drowning is NO joke, you are instantly RELAAAAAXXED............
Smells very nice, not overpowering and you can indeed doze off, so be careful ;0) Oh, and the Big Shampoo, is a keeper too!Girls, as I type this review I am enjoying my all over fragrance, literally from Head To Toes! Feelin' Da'Sexy!

Now let's get its effectiveness out of the way so we can talk about that love it or hate it scent! It is a really thick conditioner and works great every other day or every few days. I have really long hair and this tames it and smoothes my split ends, and it leaves my hair shiny. It isn't greasy at all.

If you are used to drugstore or salon conditioners, don't judge the effectiveness of any natural conditioner for a month. That is how long it can take for the silicones in mainstream conditioners to leave your hair (silicones are all those things in conditioner that end in "cone", like dimethicone, etc). Detoxing your hair off silicones is well worth it though, my hair is much healthier and shinier without that buildup.

So the scent: It is green, kind of melon and fresh, with a hint of violet (like Bathos, Gratuitous Violets, and Daddyo) to it. It took some getting used to, and when I first got it I thought it smelled of green beans or some vegetable-like smell. But when you use it and rinse it out, you are left with a rich green scent, with the tiniest hint of gently floral violet.

It isn't for everybody, but if you buy it, give it a chance to work its magic in your hair before you make your judgement, because that lovely violetty smell combined with how well it works makes it kind of addictive. I use it with Daddyo shampoo to enhance that hint of violet and the fresh green scent I get from it. I use it in rotation with American Cream which is a bit lighter.

My skin manages to be both acne-prone (I'm over 30) and hyper-sensitive. Most oily-skin or acne oriented products make my skin red and irritated, but sensitive-skin creamy stuff is too greasy. This cleanser is perfect for me. Feels incredibly gentle, but gets my face very clean. Afterwards my skin feels calm, not red like it used to after cleansing, my pimples go away a lot faster, and I could swear my pores look smaller and my skin tone more even. Wonderful stuff.

I just bought Retread Hair Conditioner today from my local LUSH store and tried it tonight. My hair was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G after I used it. After I've read all the reviews about the product, I was still a little skepticle, as I've tried many things that had awesome reviews, but just didn't work with my thick coarse hair.

I shampooed my hair, put in Retread Hair Conditioner, covered my hair with a plastic cap and set a hot towel over it for an hour (dunking the towel in hot water every 15 minutes to 'reheat' it). Rinsed out the conditioner and didn't use anything else on my hair (I usually have to put in anti-frizz serum).

The first thing I noticed was the shine... what a HUGE difference. Even my boyfriend said there was something different, but he couldn't quite figure it out. Retread Hair Conditioner left my hair super soft too. And you don't even need to use that much.

Now for the bad....

the smell (that's why it's not 5 stars)! I know some people say they love it and some people say they hate it, and I really think that's the way it is... you either hate it or love it. I actully hated it. My boyfriend took one whiff (and thought it smelled like old soggy towels) and offered to drive me back to LUSH to return it because he thought it was 'old'. Another reviewer said it smelled like 'barnyard' and I think that's the best way to describe it. You do get used to it (and luckly the smell fades as your hair dries), but for me, the smell was too much.

I will buy again because I absolutely love the results, but I will only use Retread Hair Conditioner when I know I will be home the next day to spare others from the smell.
