I'm sure the good reviews of other people here will give you enough information already. The product has some good ingredients like limes and avocado butters. But what you may not know it's that any other cleanser you are using like maybe L'Oreal Happy Derm in my case, you can just add table salt like half a teaspoon(yes they are sea salt ocean salt whatever you want to call it...same thing...sodium chloride) put your favorite cleanser on top and you are benefiting from the natural scrub and its healing/tightening properties already. I use this every morning now instead of Ocean Salt Skin Cleanser. Lime/lemon has the effect of the toner. Experiment on lime-lemon/olive oil combination on cotton ball after washing your face instead of toner can be surprisingly effective also. Something is worth the money, something may not be. Read the ingredients before shelling out $$$ for something worth $.

This bath set was my first Lush product. I received it as a gift for Christmas. When I opened it, the smell it emitted was very strong and sweet. I loved it before I even used it! The rock star soap is smaller than a normal chunk and in the shape of a star. It does not contain star-shaped sparkles like the regular bar (or at least, mine didn't). The bubble bar and soap smell the same but can be used in different ways. I like to take a bath with the bubble bar and use the soap on a loofah for an extra sweet, candy-filled experience. I'm definitely looking forward to ordering more Lush products. Lush, you've made a new fan for life! :)

Summary : Great for more than the face!

This facial cleanser has a interesting smell and an even more interesting texture - a somewhat rough texture.

I tried it right away on my face, which was a bit blemished, and right away I felt it react to my broken out skin. It actually smoothed my skin out, and now only 12 hours later my face is almost cleared up!!!

I also tried the cleanser on my rough knees, and they are now smooth and soft.

This product is very messy to use, but it's powerful abilities to clear my face and soften all the rough spots forces me to give it 5 stars!

This along with Big Shampoo, was my first try of Lush's products, I purchased several bath bombs (Big Blue, Sex Bomb, as well as the promo free ButterBall) since they had pretty good reviews... I am a true believer in the Bath as Therapy! So, of course I wanted to check this stuff out, and let me just say.........Honeeee, Those that haven't should!!! Waving not Drowning is NO joke, you are instantly RELAAAAAXXED............
Smells very nice, not overpowering and you can indeed doze off, so be careful ;0) Oh, and the Big Shampoo, is a keeper too!Girls, as I type this review I am enjoying my all over fragrance, literally from Head To Toes! Feelin' Da'Sexy!

Title : Laura Mercier Foundation Primer

Summary : Good, but not worth my money next time...

I bought this on the recommendation of the make up salesperson when I asked what the two must have products from Laura Mercier were.

It was my first primer purchase, and, to be honest, I doubt I'll ever buy another one. When I put this on I do agree that my skin does feel smoother and the primer in theory puts down a good groundwork for foundation.

However, I don't see any real difference in my skin after I put on my foundation that makes me think that this is doing something truly great. Maybe because I have a bit of a babyface this isn't as important for filling in lines/roughness etc. as for some others out there.

This is one purchase I'll probably skip next time around.

Summary : Great For Product Buld Up

This is an interesting shampoo. It looks more like a scrub you use for dry skin, but it is indeed for your hair. I use about a teaspoon amount and your hair has to be really wet to get the lather going. Some people claim it takes a lot of time to use, but it takes just as long as anything else. It really leaves your hair squeaky clean (stripping off those kunky chemicals). Consequently, I only have to wash my hair every other day when using the product (I wear my hair in pony tails a lot). However, I would reccomend only using it once or twice a week if you wash your hair daily or have dry/colored/damaged hair. I have very thick, wavy hair and it's not been a problem, but I would not use it every day.

If I could rate lower than one star I would. I have a newly refinished 1921 pedestal tub and I have spent 4 days trying to clean the awful yellow ring stain left behind after using this bath bomb. I finally got the tub clean but I will NEVER use another Lush bath bomb!

Summary : This is THE best.

I have some dry bumpy bits at the top of my arms that have been resistant to any scrubby product I've ever tried to use, but buffy got my skin so smooth! Amazing, and highly recommended. Soak in the tub/shower/whatever so the hot water softens up your skin, then scrub away. The small bar lasts 2 or 3 uses; the large is twice as big. The small one is more reasonably priced for people who just want to sample the stuff.

This thing has lots of great little scrubby bits in it. Ground rice, ground almonds, AND adzuku beans. Not just one, but three, and they are all super-scrubby. You'll be a little red when you're done, but it's SO worth it once you've cooled off and your skin is as smooth as a baby's bottom.

The only downside is that it makes your tub look like somebody dumped sand into the bottom of it once the thing drains. The bar melts at around 'hot water' temperature, and you're not supposed to use any moisturizer after using this stuff - but you really don't have to! The moisturizing oils in the bar really do work very well. I'll definitely be picking up a couple more of these.

The cocoa butter/lemon/lavendar scent is really amazing as well. Soothing AND refreshing, it can wake you up in the morning or calm you down at night before you go to sleep. Definitely try this thing, though, if you're looking for ultimate exfoliation plus moisturizing!

Summary : WHAT A WAY TO CELEBRATE !

It's prettily pink and the jasmine aroma is incredibly rich, mysterious and seductive. As you slip into the tub this deep, warm, intense scent surrounds and soothes.

Because of it's unique fragrance jasmine is featured in a multitude of fables and age-old fairy tales. Most often in literature it's noted as a romantic scent - rightly so. Thank what could have been written if any of these authors had owned a jasmine bath ballistic!

Lush tells us their Chinese New Year celebration ballistic, Youki-Hi, is named after one of the world's most beautiful women. Well, it certainly makes me feel beautiful and that, fellow Lushettes, is what counts.

Title : Godiva Shampoo Bar by LUSH

Summary : Has its Ups and Downs

There are several things I love about this product and several things I dislike. I'll preface this by saying that Lush's marketing is ingenious. It seems everyone who makes it to their store or web site really wants to love their products. I also have really tried my hardest to become a Lush devotee but it just isn't working out for me.

Here's what I liked about Godiva:
1) The smell. It's absolutely divine. You must be a big fan of jasmine, though, and I can see how it would be too much for some people. I personally loved it.

2) It left my hair in great condition. I don't think my hair has ever been this healthy. However, this isn't the only thing I've been doing differently in my hair routine so whether or not Godiva is responsible for my new-found beautiful locks remains to be told.

Now the things I didn't like:
1) The size. The bar is tiny. Which leads to me next point...

2) The price. For such a small product the price is unbelievable. I know some other reviewers have said that Lush's shampoo bars last for months, but I disagree with them. Perhaps if you wash your hair 3 or 4 times per month that would be the case but for the average woman these will not last more than 6 or 7 weeks. Which leads me to the next point...

3) The bars would last much longer if they lathered better. I read on some reviews that they only needed 3 swipes to get enough lather for their whole head. I had to work the bar in my hands and then rub it over my head a good 10-15 times to get a decent (not great) lather. This is part of the reason the bars don't last very long. I do have quite long, thick, curly hair, but I don't lather my whole head, just the scalp. So I was quite disappointed with the lathering action of this product.

Overall, I'm slowly starting to lose steam for Lush's products but I am still a slave to their marketing ploys. I'm sure I'll end up buying this product again just because it smells so good, but I'll have a good bit of buyer's remorse afterward because of the expense.

Summary : Secret Brightener

I bought this product hoping for some shimmer and it delivered with excellent results. I have this in the #2 shade which is a sheer, shimmery pinkish-gold. This goes under my eyebrows, in the corner of my eyes (brown) and on top of my cheekbones, it gives a very flattering and natural shimmer. It brightens my eyes and makes them pop. I highly recommend this product.

Summary : Smells of parma violets, loads of bubbles...

This is a lovely fresh floral for those who don't like florals. Lush makes a wonderful violet scent, and even back when I hated florals I loved the sensual and dusky scent of this bath. Violet is a kind of green and fresh floral, and added to the violet is a rich undertone of depthy spiciness. I love the complexity of this scent.

To use you just crumble a portion or all of this bubble bar under the running water at the very beginning of filling your tub and you will get loads of bubbles. I usually use a third to half of it at a time, and it is still strongly scented and gives loads of bubbles that way.

Try a third of a Bathos with a half of a Blackberry Bomb for a deep purple bath.

Summary : Okay so I really wanted a Happy Pill

It took a bit for this one to disolve. I am not sure if my hard water makes the fragrance less powerful, but this bomb did not have a very strong scent. It smelled very much the the sex bomb bath bomb that I tried previously, with the exception of the citrus in this one. They both have a detergent like scent.
The Happy pill made the water look like milk at first but when that faded it was a pale yellow.

I read the reviews and made my choice by them. But not to happy although it does feel soft on the skin. I DO NOT like the scent. I was hoping it would smell nicer. SO I will use it on my feet. (lol)

Title : In The Nude Bath Melt by LUSH

Summary : Soothing

Adding a bath melt to your evening bath makes it a sensuous and silky experience. The water seems to glide over your skin in a more sensuous way and while the almond oil moisturizes your skin, the lavender and rose essential oils helps you to relax and forget the daily drudgery.

With a bath melt, you enter the land of exotic princesses sinking into mysterious milky perfumed baths. Of course you will want to try Skin Sin lotion to enhance the experience.

The color of the bath melt is not quite as pink as pictured and is more like a "nude" skin tone. You can use this along with other items from LUSH or add in your own bubbles, like a black currant and vanilla bubble bath. A

s you emerge from the tub, you may notice you don't need any body cream at all, but what fun would that be? The Skin Sin lotion is fun to use and also contains almond oil.
